Festival Time: Saturday 14 March, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday 15 March, 9:00 to 4:00 p.m. 

Gates open to the public at 9:00 a.m. each day. 

Camping: Campground Reservations may be made starting 90 days before the event

NOTE: Only call (256)425-3016 to make campground reservations. 

CAMPING AT THE FESTIVAL SITE IS NOT ALLOWED. 

Set Up: Friday, 13 March, 12:00 to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, 14 March, 7:00 to 8:30 a.m. We will try and accommodate parking behind your vendor tents. Leaving your vehicle there is at your own risk. You will be allowed one vehicle inside the venue. If you want to take your vehicle off the field it must be done by 8:40 a.m. each day. All tents must be secured in the event of wind and foul weather. We will be located on the Jubilee Field (AKA Strike Zone). There will be no electricity or water available. 

All vendors: This is from the Decatur Revenue Department: 

Each vendor will purchase a license by completing the application and returning it to us at [email protected]. Once we have received the application, we can accept payment by phone via credit card for a fee of 2.49%. We accept Visa, Master Card or Discover.

Each vendor will be responsible for remitting the tax collected at the event by the 20th of the next Month. This may be done using My Alabama Taxes or by mailing a check with a completed tax form. 

Each license fee will be $89.00 unless the gross receipts reported are more than $9,999.00. This information is located on your application under “Merchant Retail” 

License.

Additional Information: 

Food Trucks/Trailers: All generators necessary for your operation must be housed in, under, or behind your primary truck/trailer. Extra vehicles to host your generator(s) are not allowed. There will be no exceptions. A copy of your 2026 food license must be displayed prominently on your vehicle.  This does not need to be from Morgan County.

Food vendors: A copy of your 2026 food license must be displayed at the festival and does not need to be from Morgan County.

Takedown: You may begin takedown at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. If your vehicle is not on the field you may enter the field after 4:30 p.m. or in the event of an emergency which will be announced. Emergency exits must be coordinated with the organizers. Running out of product(s) is not an emergency.

 

INSURANCE: NASFHG's Festival Insurance does not cover you individually. Liability Insurance is highly recommended. 

Vendors: 

You are responsible for setting up, manning, and breaking down your set-up. If you are a no-show, no refunds will be issued.  Please keep your area clean and return it to the condition you received it

Liability and Hold Harmless Release: 

The Applicant recognizes that participation in the North Alabama Scottish Festival and Highland Games (NASF&HG) involves risk of physical injury, including that caused by the negligence of the Participants/Applicants, Morgan County, City of Decatur, Point Mallard Park, or the NASF&HG. By herein, the Applicant(s)/Participant(s) recognizes their status as Independent Contractors and voluntarily releases, waives and relinquishes any and all current or future claims against Morgan County, the City of Decatur, Point Mallard Park, or the NASF&HG for personal injury, property damage or wrongful death occurring to the Applicant(s)/Participant(s) arising out of participation in the Festival/Games, and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Morgan County, The City of Decatur and NASF&HG from 

any claim against these entities for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death to the Applicant(s)/Participant(s), to the extent allowed by law
